AHELA Loan Programs

As of October 6th, 2008, AHELA has temporarily suspended acceptance of new federal student loan applications. AHELA will continue to fund all loans received prior to October 6th, 2008 through final disbursements.

This temporary suspension is necessary due to a large increase in loan volume and the current credit market conditions. This change will allow AHELA to continue offering student loans in the future and provide funding to more students in the upcoming school year.
