Do you think college is too expensive? Apply for financial aid, including scholarships, before you decide you can't afford it! Research costs of community colleges or apply to a work-college, where you work on campus to earn your degree.

Do you think your low grade point average can stop you? Start getting good grades now! Work harder in classes, turn in assignments, find a tutor, improve study habits, and talk to your teachers or guidance counselors for advice. Often community colleges have flexible admissions policies. After 2 years of good grades, you can transfer your credits to a four-year college to obtain your bachelor's degree.

Do you think college will be too hard? Many students juggle work and family obligations, but they don't give up. Some work full-time, take full class loads, and raise their child(ren). The hardwork and struggle is worth it to make a better life for you and your family.
